Interest in the Oslo Marathon is bigger than ever. For the first time, more than 11,000 runners registered for more than two months left to go. This is more than entrants to start the marathon last year.

It is also an international interest in the Oslo Marathon and the event attracts participants from around the world. Runners are traveling from, among others from the United States and Argentina in the west to Japan in the east. Most come from Germany, followed by Poland and the Netherlands. A total of 68 different nations represented. More than half of this year’s participants are participating for the first time.
