Work out tips from Grete Waitz

Grete Waitz won the women’s marathon and with it the very first gold medal in the very first World Championships in Athletics in Helsinki in 1983. She also won silver in the Olympics in Los Angeles in 1984 and was world champion in cross-country five times. But the most famous, she is perhaps his nine victories in New York City Marathon.

Since she retired as an elite runner Grete has been an active spokesperson for training and preventive health care worldwide. More than any other writer Gretel that more and more to experience both the joy and benefits of physical exercise.

Training by Grete Waitz

These are training for the various distances. You choose what suits your shape and your ambitions. First is training to those who only want to complete the half marathon without a specific tidsmål. The marathon program is for those who plan to use up to 4 hours. Starter program is a minimum program to manage a marathon. These are also in the book “Run your own marathon” by Grete Waitz, published by Kagge Publishing.
